How
had I wished it all my life,
To hover
- high up in the skies.
Never
had I contemplated,
A
day I’ll sink in her eyes.
Her
pretty face, her nectar smile,
To
heaven it all takes me.
When
she’s around nothing else matters,
Such
a darling angel is she.
The
music in her voice, her mischievous chirps,
Give
nightingale a trance.
Oh
how I wish, to have her in my life,
If
only I had a chance.
God
has made her, with all his heart,
Has nurtured
her eyes' pose,
Her
lovely hair with dark night sky,
Her lips
with petals of rose.
In
dreams, at wake, at motion, in rest,
Her
thoughts don’t subside me.
Ever
since my soul got entangled in her thoughts,
I could not, at all, set it free.
But
alas reality! Not all dreams get shape,
Not all
broken hearts get mend.
My
heart – “move on” since breaks that tree,
That
knows not how to bend.
So
what if the flower of my heart,
Blooms
in another Eden’s soil?
So
what if fruits be denied to me,
No
matter how I toil?
I
know at heart, that life goes on,
And
thus will I do no wrong -
Love’s
Enigma baffles and never gets solved,
But
the heart will still love along.
